Answer: C. Operation Sadbhavana is the Indian Army's civic action programme in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the North East. It runs schools, health camps, vocational training and infrastructure projects to meet the basic needs of people in remote areas and build goodwill.
Watch for: All four sound like goodwill missions; Sadbhavana (goodwill) is the long-running Army programme for local people.
Why the other options are wrong
- A. Wrong because Operation Sankalp is the Navy's maritime security operation in the Gulf region.
- B. Wrong because Operation Maitri was India's 2015 earthquake relief mission in Nepal.
- D. Wrong because Operation Madad is a name used for disaster relief, such as the Navy's Kerala flood relief in 2018.
